The Mountain Barker Visitor Centre is conveniently located on Albany Highway in the historic Mount Barker Train Station, with plenty of parking for cars, motor homes and cars towing caravans.

We are open seven days a week:

Monday to Friday– 9:00 am – 1:00 pm 

Saturdays 10:00 am – 2:00 pm 

Our friendly staff and volunteers are all locals who know the area and attractions, and who would be delighted to provide you with local information about trails, wildflowers, local wines, history

We also have a range of locally made or grown produce, merchandise, maps, books, brochures, visitor guides, post cards and souvenirs. Support local artists, crafts people and producers and find the perfect Mountain Country gift.

Our Visitor Centre precinct also offers a waste disposal site, public toilets, public phone and easy access to the town facilities and businesses.
