Is one of the many reasons to visit the Porongurup Range and Thorn's Mountiain Retreat! We have a glorious cricket ground which is frequently used to play against local teams. We welcome teams from all over to come and play on our grounds. All amenities available for a comfortable game.

The Bat & Ball Art Installation

Recently Mike Thorne of Thorne's Retreat organised an amazing cricket celebration which was viewed during the 1st test against the West Indies in Perth beginning on the 30 th of November 2022.

George Corke had the inspiration to create a piece of public art to highlight the game and which people could enjoy when they visit Thorns Mountain Retreat ,and another reason to visit Mountain Country.
